Last Sunday (28th October) we were thrilled to host a fantastic afternoon of classical music, in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Music in Hospitals and Care charity. (Registered charity No. 1051659)

Guests arrived to the Stone Barn where raffle tickets were on hand to purchase and settled themselves in readiness for an afternoon of Mozart and Schubert, followed by a drinks reception.

Part One saw performances by Orpheus Leander Papafilippou (Violinist) and Rimantas Vingras (Pianist) who are both regular performers for the charity and bring musical joy to many who might otherwise have no access to it.

Part Two was performed by internationally renowned Toby Spence and accompanied by Christopher Glynn on the Piano. Toby Spence is Vice President of the Music in Hospitals and Care charity, so it was a real honour for us not only to host this event, but also have Toby with us and performing.

We are very interested in hosting events of this nature and Hendall really does lend itself hugely well to this kind of fundraising performance.

The drinks reception in the interval offered the audience a chance to speak to the performers and mingle with one another in the spacious barn.

Here are a few images from the day!
