Wonderful property in a fantastic location. Nicola was a great host and very responsive. We enjoyed playing snooker, table tennis, tennis and the swimming pool. Lovely walks and pubs in the vicinity.

From the moment we stepped into Hendall, we fell in love with it. We first started viewing venues while we were in the middle of moving house, but unfortunately our sale fell through and everything had to go on pause. The team at Hendall were so understanding and incredibly patient with us during that time. Even after taking a break from wedding planning over Christmas, we couldn’t get Hendall out of our minds, so as soon as we were ready, we got back in touch and were desperate to secure our wedding date.
Nicola and Viki were fantastic throughout the entire planning process. Nothing was ever too much to ask, and they guided us every step of the way. We were welcome to visit the venue as often as we needed and bring along any suppliers to help plan the day, which made everything feel so much easier.
As a dry hire venue, you’re responsible for arranging your own food and drinks, but the approved caterers list made this process much less overwhelming. It helped us narrow down our options based on both the style of catering we wanted and our budget.
Every meeting and email left us feeling genuinely looked after. Nicola and Viki are incredibly warm, organised, and experienced. They know exactly how they want the day to run, and for us, that was a huge positive because it meant we could completely switch off, trust everything was in hand, and simply enjoy our wedding day.
As Hendall is also the owners home, they take enormous pride in the venue and its grounds, and it’s clear how much they care about maintaining it.
One of our favourite parts was being able to stay at the venue the night before with both sets of parents and my bridesmaids. Having that extra time together to settle into the venue, relax, and enjoy the build up to the wedding was so special. The Cart Barn bridal suite is another standout feature. We loved having our own beautiful space to get ready in the morning and to stay in on our wedding night.
We honestly couldn’t have chosen a more beautiful venue. Hendall gave us the most incredible backdrop for our wedding and a day we’ll treasure forever.

In the Summer months, there is shared access to our private pool and tennis court (rackets and balls not included). There is also a lovely outside seating area overlooking paddocks with horses and beautiful countryside.
We had a wonderful wedding day. Viki, Peter & Nicola were so helpful from start to finish.
They had a list of local suppliers which narrowed down our search and their own handy spreadsheet to make sure everything was to schedule.
The venue was spacious, easily accommodating our guests and entertainment. Its incredibly beautiful with so many spots for great photos.
The guest accommodation was spacious and clean. We stayed in the cart barn which was a lovely conversion. Both had kitchens so we could make food the night before and the morning after.
Thank you to everyone involved, our guests had a great day, and we couldn’t be happier!

Whether it’s a dog carrying the rings, a horse roaming the fields with you, or even a cherished photo of a pet who couldn’t be there, these moments remind us that family comes in many forms and love, loyalty, and companionship don’t always walk on two legs.
We are so lucky that we always seem to attract lots of creative couples that want to, above all create a day filled with lots of individuality and fun. On 16th July 2022 Livi & Alex held their creative barn wedding at Hendall and it certainly contained an abundance of both of these.
Once again a huge thank you from Cheryl and me to you, Peter and all your team for helping to make Olivia and Alex’s wedding such a wonderful occasion. It was a truly memorable day. You have a lovely wedding venue and the on-site accommodation worked so well for us.

It is an opportunity to spend time in a stunning location, buy the outfits and shoes you have never before dared spend so much money on and spend time looking for those small touches that will put a smile on all your guests faces. That is exactly what our couple did when planning their Hendall Manor Barns Wedding!

Everything was immaculate, the photos look incredible and we are so happy we chose Sarah to do our food. From our initial look around to leaving on the day, you have been so so helpful and we couldn’t have done it without you.

Molly & I are so extremely grateful for everything you’ve done which has helped gift us with the best wedding day. Our favourite position generally being background characters in events, we were approaching the day with a bit of anxiety and stress about all the attention and business of the day, however, we couldn’t have enjoyed it more. Everything ran so smoothly, the food was delicious, the waiters and helpers were wonderful and the venue provoked a lot of amazing feedback. Everyone absolutely loved the day.
Once again, thank you for all you have done, your venue is amazing, we had a gorgeous day with gorgeous weather (somehow!!) and it was such a pleasure to get to know Peter & Nicola and the whole team at Hendall.

We got married at Hendall in May 2026, and it was truly more perfect than we ever could have imagined.
When we started planning our wedding, Hendall was the first venue that we viewed. We viewed several more afterwards, but needn’t have bothered, because we quicky realised that Hendall was exactly what we were looking for, and couldn’t stop comparing the other venues to Hendall!
Throughout the planning and preparation stages the team were so helpful, giving useful suggestions, responding to queries quickly, and just generally helping to keep us organised. They made lots of recommendations for trusted suppliers, particularly helping us to decide which caterer would best suit what we were looking for.
It was so important to us that we had exclusive use of the venue for the whole weekend, as we didn’t want to feel rushed or hurried. We were able to set-up on the Friday afternoon, enjoy the ceremony on the Saturday, and then move everything out again on the Sunday morning.
So many of our guests commented on how beautiful and perfect the venue was, and we felt that it was naturally such a lovely space that we didn’t need to go over-the-top with the décor.
We also stayed in the stunning on-site accommodation both the nights before and after the wedding, which was perfect. It was so relaxing to be able to wake up on the morning of the wedding and know that we were just a 60 second walk away from the venue! There was plenty of space for myself, my bridesmaids, and the mother of the bride and mother of the groom to all get ready at the Old Granary on the Saturday morning, and the same for the groom & groomsmen in the Cart Barn.

A truly beautiful venue in gorgeous surroundings! Loved that we had scope to put completely our own stamp on our day but also with great guidance throughout. We are sitting here at our delightful airport hotel reminiscing on the best day of our lives on Saturday. It really was spectacular and we are so thrilled with all of our choices of venue, photographer and caterers, you all delivered so brilliantly and we are so grateful.
I wanted to share a few comments I heard on the day including my mother (not easily impressed) saying that she had never come across a more organised photographer, and John the comments we have had regarding the first pictures you have released have been amazing and I couldn’t believe how great they look! Sarah – my friend Joe (a massive foodie) said he had never had a piece of beef like it and was blown away and the non-stop commentary on the fantastic canapés made me laugh. And Viki, Peter & Nic, so many people said on the day how fantastic the venue looked and how lucky we were to have such a brilliant place to get married in.
We wish we could do it all again! But next time we do a big party we know who to come to!!

From the minute we walked into Hendall Manor Barns, Nicola and her team gave us absolute confidence that we would be well looked after. They answered all of our questions, helped us understand all the complexities of organising a wedding, and had us feeling completely at ease throughout.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning, and lovingly renovated, as are the on-site accommodations and the surrounding area is just so beautiful and peaceful.
