The large, raised south-facing terrace and lawn at Hendall is ideal for wedding and drink receptions. The terrace can also double as a performance stage overlooking the lawn area below. This beautiful outside area offers a stunning, tranquil setting for both wedding receptions and parties, as well as charity events and exhibitions.
The terrace features outdoor wooden tables, chairs and parasols along with benches, olive trees, planters and potted box hedges.
In the evening, the festoon lighting that runs the length of the terrace is switched on, and the main house is floodlit, creating a wonderful backdrop during the evening.

Just a short note to say thank you for allowing us to use your beautiful premises for my mothers wake and for the friendly and professional way we were treated. I am so envious that you have such a lovely place and its a credit to you that you have made a wonderful job of renovating the venue. Mum would have been thrilled by the location (and by Janes food) to complete the emotional day. I hope our paths cross in the future.

We booked a stay at The Granary for 2 nights over New Year. We were 3 couples with 2 dogs. The converted medieval barn was beautifully and sympathetically converted to a high standard. Lots of character and very nicely styled.
The beds were very comfortable and there was underfloor heating, so nice and cosy. We particularly enjoyed the snooker and table tennis which was a bonus, given the dreadful weather!! Lovely walks from the doorstep.
The host was very kind allowing us to get into the property early and to check out a little later.
If you were to book over the Summer, you may also have use of the swimming pool and tennis court. A lovely stay.
