The Old Dairy, formerly the old milking parlour offers a flexible and comfortable conference/studio room.
At just over 50ft in length, with its vaulted roof and old beams, this more intimate space lends itself perfectly to any number of business and creative uses. Tables and seating are provided for meetings, presentations and seminars.
The Conference Room is naturally lit by eight large roof lights and can also be adapted for courses, exhibitions and exercise classes
Pricing is arranged on a bespoke basis, as opposed to delegate packages. Given the differing requirements our client’s may need, this allows for competitive rates and flexibility to be offered based on time of year, number of guests and set up/catering requirements.

The day couldn’t have been more fantastic. The feedback from the guests has just been incredible and everyone had such a good time. From the photos, to the flowers, to the cake, to the food and the best venue, it was exactly how we’d pictured it!
What an amazing place to stay! My partner, my dog and I had the BEST New Year’s Eve break at the Cart Barn.
Nicola and Peter are amazing hosts, happy to answer any questions you have – nothing is too much trouble. Inside the barn it is beautifully decorated and furnished and it has everything you need, from cooking utensils to toiletries and maps of the local area. You are surrounded by gorgeous fields and wildlife, there are multiple walking trails in each direction and you are right on the edge of Ashdown Forest.
The area is really peaceful and quiet, perfect for an enjoyable and relaxing stay. There are 2 pubs close by, both in walking distance through fields and woodlands, that serve delicious food and drinks too.
We are already planning our return and have recommended the Cart Barn to friends and family. Thank you for an amazing stay!
