Our Supplier Networking Morning

We decided we would like to host a networking morning for all of our wonderful recommended suppliers, to catch up with them and thank then for all their hard work, so, last week on a grey November day, we welcomed over 40 of our suppliers to Hendall Manor Barns and invited them in to our warm, cosy barn with ambient lighting and plenty of tea and coffee to go around.

One of our wonderful approved caterers, Becky from The Garden Chef, very generously provided with us with the most sensational tray of goodies filled to the brim with homemade donuts, cinnamon Chelsea buns, cheese straws, sausage rolls and quiches to name but a few!

This was the first event of this kind that we have held, and it was an enormous success and welcome break for all of us to chat about all the things we love; weddings and events, in a relaxed setting and whilst being ‘off duty’ too!

We normally only really get to see these suppliers on the morning of a wedding or event when everyone is busy preparing for the event ahead and we have a quick “hello” before heading off to fulfill our duties; be it stacking a wedding cake, providing the flowers for the venue, Bride and Bridesmaids hair and make up etc… so it was a good opportunity to speak to each other, catch up on wedding trends and generally have a good old chin wag over a cup of tea and a mince pie!!

We received some lovely feedback from our suppliers who came and, as a result, we are certainly thinking about hosting another event in the Spring and extending the invitation to suppliers who have not been here before, so they can come and see our beautiful venue and understand what it is we have to offer!
