Lovingly restored, Hendall Manor Barns is a very beautiful, private, wedding and events venue in the heart of the East Sussex countryside.
Our glorious split-level Stone Barn is very adaptable for weddings and receptions of varying sizes, including small & intimate, as well as formal dining, ceremonies and dancing.
Two converted barns provide versatile accommodation depending on your requirements. A spacious, three bedroom converted Old Granary for up to 8 and The Cart Barn, recently renovated for 2.
Hendall provides a considerable space both within and directly outside that is full of character, that can be adapted for a multitude of different uses.
The Venue here at Hendall Manor Barns consists of three interconnecting buildings (The Stone Barn, The Old Dairy and a caterer’s kitchen in the former Calf Pens) surrounding a sizeable central courtyard with a lawn and a raised terrace.
The Stone Barn is an impressive building, almost 100ft in length and is arranged on two distinct levels connected by steps and a ramp.
The Old Dairy, formerly the old milking parlour offers a flexible and comfortable conference/studio room.

I just wanted to say what a wonderful time we’ve had here. Such a recharge for our batteries in a beautiful tranquil environment. An exceptional stay in your barn with such interesting and rich history. We had fantastic walk to down the Millennium and Weald Way ending up in The Foresters. We have one very tired doggy and two very happy souls. Thanks ever so much for letting us be part of your fabulous setting.

We are sitting here at our delightful airport hotel reminiscing on the best day of our lives on Saturday. It really was spectacular and we are so thrilled with all of our choices of venue, photographer and caterers, you all delivered so brilliantly and we are so grateful.
I wanted to share a few comments I heard on the day including my mother (not easily impressed) saying that she had never come across a more organised photographer, and John the comments we have had regarding the first pictures you have released have been amazing and I couldn’t believe how great they look! Sarah – my friend Joe (a massive foodie) said he had never had a piece of beef like it and was blown away and the non-stop commentary on the fantastic canapés made me laugh. And Viki, Peter & Nic, so many people said on the day how fantastic the venue looked and how lucky we were to have such a brilliant place to get married in.
We wish we could do it all again! But next time we do a big party we know who to come to!!

Our wedding day turned out even more beautifully than we could have ever imagined, and so much of that is thanks to this incredible venue and team.
