Lovingly restored, Hendall Manor Barns is a very beautiful, private, wedding and events venue in the heart of the East Sussex countryside.
Our glorious split-level Stone Barn is very adaptable for weddings and receptions of varying sizes, including small & intimate, as well as formal dining, ceremonies and dancing.
Two converted barns provide versatile accommodation depending on your requirements. A spacious, three bedroom converted Old Granary for up to 8 and The Cart Barn, recently renovated for 2.
Hendall provides a considerable space both within and directly outside that is full of character, that can be adapted for a multitude of different uses.
The Venue here at Hendall Manor Barns consists of three interconnecting buildings (The Stone Barn, The Old Dairy and a caterer’s kitchen in the former Calf Pens) surrounding a sizeable central courtyard with a lawn and a raised terrace.
The Stone Barn is an impressive building, almost 100ft in length and is arranged on two distinct levels connected by steps and a ramp.
The Old Dairy, formerly the old milking parlour offers a flexible and comfortable conference/studio room.

What an absolutely beautiful and amazing barn. My friends and I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and would recommend it. The weather was great, the pool was pure tranquillity and the whole estate was absolutely stunning. We could have stayed for a lot longer and I plan on returning with my family next year! An exceptional stay in your barn with such interesting and rich history. We had fantastic walk to down the Millennium and Weald Way ending up in The Foresters. We had our wedding breakfast and evening disco at Hendall Manor in August this year. It was a stunning venue and my husband and I fell in love with it, from the moment we stepped in the door. The service was excellent and we had the confidence knowing our wishes were carried out to the letter. We had such an amazing celebration and so many compliments on the venue from family and friends. We had a fantastic family weekend at the beautiful stone barn. It was a great stay for relaxing, exploring and enjoying the countryside. The tennis court, pool table and table tennis provided plenty of entertainment, and the house had plenty of room for everyone, including a high chair and travel cot which were a nice touch for us. Nicola was a friendly and accommodating host, on hand whenever needed but we felt we had our own space.

Nicola and Peter have created the most stunning venue – immaculate and beautifully restored – it is the most perfect, breath-taking place that also feels so relaxed and welcoming.

Tucked away down a country lane, Hendall Manor is surrounded by a plethora of beautiful, historical buildings two of which are dedicated to onsite accommodation. If you love the idea of your wedding party being able to stay with you, the night before and on the day of your wedding, look no further than Hendall.
In the Summer months, there is shared access to our private pool and tennis court (rackets and balls not included). There is also a lovely outside seating area overlooking paddocks with horses and beautiful countryside.
There may be a pandemic where many people are locked down and spending a lot of time at home, but one thing is certain – Love Isn’t Cancelled.
