Lovingly restored, Hendall Manor Barns is a very beautiful, private, wedding and events venue in the heart of the East Sussex countryside.
Our glorious split-level Stone Barn is very adaptable for weddings and receptions of varying sizes, including small & intimate, as well as formal dining, ceremonies and dancing.
Two converted barns provide versatile accommodation depending on your requirements. A spacious, three bedroom converted Old Granary for up to 8 and The Cart Barn, recently renovated for 2.
Hendall provides a considerable space both within and directly outside that is full of character, that can be adapted for a multitude of different uses.
The Venue here at Hendall Manor Barns consists of three interconnecting buildings (The Stone Barn, The Old Dairy and a caterer’s kitchen in the former Calf Pens) surrounding a sizeable central courtyard with a lawn and a raised terrace.
The Stone Barn is an impressive building, almost 100ft in length and is arranged on two distinct levels connected by steps and a ramp.
The Old Dairy, formerly the old milking parlour offers a flexible and comfortable conference/studio room.

We booked a stay at The Granary for 2 nights over New Year. We were 3 couples with 2 dogs. The converted medieval barn was beautifully and sympathetically converted to a high standard. Lots of character and very nicely styled.
The beds were very comfortable and there was underfloor heating, so nice and cosy. We particularly enjoyed the snooker and table tennis which was a bonus, given the dreadful weather!! Lovely walks from the doorstep.
The host was very kind allowing us to get into the property early and to check out a little later.
If you were to book over the Summer, you may also have use of the swimming pool and tennis court. A lovely stay.

We cannot thank Hendall Manor Barns enough for giving us the most perfect wedding day. From our very first visit, we fell in love with the venue and the amazing team – Nicola, Viki and Peter – who supported us every step of the way.
They made us feel like the only wedding, accommodated all our requests, and ensured everything ran seamlessly. On the day, Nicola and Viki took all the pressure away with their calm, professional presence, and our guests haven’t stopped saying how wonderful it was.

We recently had our wedding here, from the initial viewing to the actual day itself Nicola and her team were beyond helpful. The grounds and venue have so many great photo opportunities, and staying on site was perfect as it meant everyone was together and ready for the morning! What an absolutely beautiful and amazing barn. My friends and I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and would recommend it. The weather was great, the pool was pure tranquillity and the whole estate was absolutely stunning. We could have stayed for a lot longer and I plan on returning with my family next year!
