Lovingly restored, Hendall Manor Barns is a very beautiful, private, wedding and events venue in the heart of the East Sussex countryside.
Our glorious split-level Stone Barn is very adaptable for weddings and receptions of varying sizes, including small & intimate, as well as formal dining, ceremonies and dancing.
Two converted barns provide versatile accommodation depending on your requirements. A spacious, three bedroom converted Old Granary for up to 8 and The Cart Barn, recently renovated for 2.
Hendall provides a considerable space both within and directly outside that is full of character, that can be adapted for a multitude of different uses.
The Venue here at Hendall Manor Barns consists of three interconnecting buildings (The Stone Barn, The Old Dairy and a caterer’s kitchen in the former Calf Pens) surrounding a sizeable central courtyard with a lawn and a raised terrace.
The Stone Barn is an impressive building, almost 100ft in length and is arranged on two distinct levels connected by steps and a ramp.
The Old Dairy, formerly the old milking parlour offers a flexible and comfortable conference/studio room.

The day couldn’t have been more fantastic. The feedback from the guests has just been incredible and everyone had such a good time. From the photos, to the flowers, to the cake, to the food and the best venue, it was exactly how we’d pictured it!
We stayed in the big barn the night before and the newly renovated 1-bed barn the night of the wedding. Both are so lovely and would go back and stay there outside of the wedding! Thank you so much for making it more special than we could have ever imagined! It poured with rain for most of the day but it was still the most magical and incredible day in the absolutely beautiful barn. Nicola and Peter, alongside Amuse catering, made sure everything ran so smoothly.

Nicola, Peter and Viki made our whole day special and made sure everything ran smoothly. The venue is just stunning, inside and out. We are so pleased we were able to get married here. It suited us all for all our needs as we could stay in the on-site accommodation the night before too. There are so many different places for photo opportunities, the possibilities are endless. I was able to put my own stamp on the venue, using all the bits I had spent time crafting to add little touches to make it so special to us.

Molly & I are so extremely grateful for everything you’ve done which has helped gift us with the best wedding day. Our favourite position generally being background characters in events, we were approaching the day with a bit of anxiety and stress about all the attention and business of the day, however, we couldn’t have enjoyed it more. Everything ran so smoothly, the food was delicious, the waiters and helpers were wonderful and the venue provoked a lot of amazing feedback. Everyone absolutely loved the day.
Once again, thank you for all you have done, your venue is amazing, we had a gorgeous day with gorgeous weather (somehow!!) and it was such a pleasure to get to know Peter & Nicola and the whole team at Hendall.

What an absolutely beautiful and amazing barn. My friends and I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and would recommend it. The weather was great, the pool was pure tranquillity and the whole estate was absolutely stunning. We could have stayed for a lot longer and I plan on returning with my family next year! Thanks, Nicola and family for opening up your estate/barn to us and giving us a very warm welcome.

The Cart barn was a beautiful place to stay set in a stunning location with amazing walks right on your door step. Nicola was welcoming and friendly and met us when we arrived. The interior of the barn was beautiful and a lovely place to relax in the evenings. It was east to find and away from main roads so at night it was wonderfully quiet and dark so we could see the stars!
Our dog loved it, particularly the stock of rabbits in the orchard that he failed to catch despite valiant efforts!
Loved this place and will book again!

I went to focus on work for a few days and the combination of fast/reliable WiFi and countless walks from the front door to clear my head, were a winning combination. Oh, and then throw in some fab local pubs!

Stayed here with three couples and three babies. The place is beautiful and big with lots of things to keep you entertained in the house – we particularly enjoyed the table tennis and pool tables! Nicola was an incredibly helpful host with good recommendations for local pubs with great food (would definitely recommend The Hurstwood pub).
Would come back to stay again!
