Lovingly restored, Hendall Manor Barns is a very beautiful, private, wedding and events venue in the heart of the East Sussex countryside.
Our glorious split-level Stone Barn is very adaptable for weddings and receptions of varying sizes, including small & intimate, as well as formal dining, ceremonies and dancing.
Two converted barns provide versatile accommodation depending on your requirements. A spacious, three bedroom converted Old Granary for up to 8 and The Cart Barn, recently renovated for 2.
Hendall provides a considerable space both within and directly outside that is full of character, that can be adapted for a multitude of different uses.
The Venue here at Hendall Manor Barns consists of three interconnecting buildings (The Stone Barn, The Old Dairy and a caterer’s kitchen in the former Calf Pens) surrounding a sizeable central courtyard with a lawn and a raised terrace.
The Stone Barn is an impressive building, almost 100ft in length and is arranged on two distinct levels connected by steps and a ramp.
The Old Dairy, formerly the old milking parlour offers a flexible and comfortable conference/studio room.

It’s not often I am compelled to leave a review. But after holding our mother’s funeral at this beautiful venue I feel I must.
Peter and Nicola at Hendall Manor Barns where incredible hosts, nothing was too much, they organised catering, worked with our florist and funeral directors seamlessly and managed music and media too.
To have this type of support while organising such a tough day was so heartening and reassuring. Beautiful people beautiful venue.

After viewing Hendall Manor Barns and meeting Viki, Nicola and Peter we knew we were in safe hands when it came to our wedding day. We immediately fell in love with the beautiful venue and associated accommodation. On the 25th October Ellie & Scott got married here with around 70 guests and wanted a relaxed barn wedding from the start.

Even when we were shown around the very first time, before we had made many decisions about the wedding, I could imagine us getting married there.”

Wonderful property in a fantastic location. Nicola was a great host and very responsive. We enjoyed playing snooker, table tennis, tennis and the swimming pool. Lovely walks and pubs in the vicinity.

In the Summer months, there is shared access to our private pool and tennis court (rackets and balls not included). There is also a lovely outside seating area overlooking paddocks with horses and beautiful countryside.
We love the variety of working with a plethora of great suppliers here at Hendall so were delighted when Gillian and Laura from Sussex Celebrants contacted us to say they had written a blog all about Hendall.
The Cart barn was a beautiful place to stay set in a stunning location with amazing walks right on your door step. Nicola was welcoming and friendly and met us when we arrived. The interior of the barn was beautiful and a lovely place to relax in the evenings. It was east to find and away from main roads so at night it was wonderfully quiet and dark so we could see the stars!
Our dog loved it, particularly the stock of rabbits in the orchard that he failed to catch despite valiant efforts!
Loved this place and will book again!
