Lovingly restored, Hendall Manor Barns is a very beautiful, private, wedding and events venue in the heart of the East Sussex countryside.
Our glorious split-level Stone Barn is very adaptable for weddings and receptions of varying sizes, including small & intimate, as well as formal dining, ceremonies and dancing.
Two converted barns provide versatile accommodation depending on your requirements. A spacious, three bedroom converted Old Granary for up to 8 and The Cart Barn, recently renovated for 2.
Hendall provides a considerable space both within and directly outside that is full of character, that can be adapted for a multitude of different uses.
The Venue here at Hendall Manor Barns consists of three interconnecting buildings (The Stone Barn, The Old Dairy and a caterer’s kitchen in the former Calf Pens) surrounding a sizeable central courtyard with a lawn and a raised terrace.
The Stone Barn is an impressive building, almost 100ft in length and is arranged on two distinct levels connected by steps and a ramp.
The Old Dairy, formerly the old milking parlour offers a flexible and comfortable conference/studio room.

We just wanted to say thank you for letting us use Hendall again for Evelyn’s naming ceremony. It was really lovely to be back – with even better weather and a few more guests!

Being able to stay on-site made it even easier! Couldn’t have gone any better, we had all we wanted and more and look forward to celebrating again on an anniversary down the line

Due to restrictions Alice and Will’s April wedding was moved and their wedding finally took place in August 2021, showcasing some stunning bright and beautiful blooms.
Wow… where to begin…. Nicola, Peter & Viki made our wedding so special… from the planning to the big day… it was seamless…. Nothing was to much trouble at all, we felt in such good hands and our wedding day was the best day of our lives! Everything was taken care of behind the scenes so there was absolutely no stress on the day! Our guests are still commenting on how beautiful Hendall is and how amazing everyone is who is involved!

Also staying in the beautiful cottage added an extra special touch to our wedding!

Taking out wedding insurance, as with anything valuable, be it sentimentally, financially or just for the peace of mind knowing you have insurance can bring, is something we insist all our couples take out, regardless of your date, budgets or ideas.
An outstanding stay in a fantastically beautiful barn and surroundings. What a charming area and quintessential English countryside location. The Cart Barn was pristine and extremely well equipped throughout including a high end finished bathroom. We brought our dog here and they slept all the way back home with us. That’s always a good sign!
Very comfortable bed and relaxing sofa in which to digest the House’s history, fascinating!

Just a little note to say what a fabulous day we had at Ellie & Scott’s wedding last week. The venue is a great with plenty of space to chat, dance eat and relax.
Most of all though the staff were all fabulous, happy, smiley, friendly and courteous they couldn’t do enough to make sure we all enjoyed ourselves.
