In this current climate people all over the world have had to deal with so much over the past year. In this blog I just wanted to share some loveliness and a few photos from Darren & Sarah’s micro wedding ceremony at the beginning of October. After all, it’s the reason we do what we do! Getting couples who love each other; married!

As soon as we knew weddings were back on, Sarah and Darren were adamant they were going ahead with their ceremony. So, our couple decided to have a simple and elegant micro wedding ceremony followed by fizz and cake with their immediate family and friends.

As if reducing numbers wasn’t enough….to add more drama, the night before the wedding they received a call from their videographer. Unfortunately their flatmate had tested positive which meant they wouldn’t be able to attend! Luckily Hannah Dougal Film & Photographer was able to jump into the breach and so without having ever met the couple she embraced the challenge and was such a welcome addition to the day.

Martin at MDFood4thought will provide a gorgeous wedding breakfast next year when they will return to Hendall to have friends and family that were unable to make it this year, can join them.

Congratulations Sarah & Darren; despite everything you celebrated with your closest friends and family around you.
