For many people, their dream is to have a winter wedding. we are proud to offer ourselves as one of the winter wedding venues in East Sussex.  Being in the heart of East Sussex, we have the most amazing views, very high up as we are between Uckfield and Crowborough, two of the highest towns in East Sussex!

We are also now finding that we are seeing new couples from Eastbourne and Brighton, as they are wanting something a little different, which they can see we are offering

Even with a light fall of snow, as we are starting to have each winter now, you will still be able to enjoy your wedding with us at Hendall. Whether it is a civil ceremony or a wedding reception, after the main ceremony, we would love to see you.

There are also some amazing places to visit whilst you are with us, including the famous Ashdown Forest, the county town of Lewes and the eccentic and really quite fantastic Brighton!

Special Offers on Mid-Week Weddings

For smaller numbers and those looking for a shorter reception mid-week (Monday – Thursday) we can provide generous and all inclusive rates from as little as £600 for a ceremony followed by a short reception. We can be very flexible with our terms and always encourage brides to use our beautiful stone barn venue in an imaginative and creative way. A short but lovely reception can be every bit as memorable as a longer day.

Furthermore there is scope in the low season for us to offer two night’s accommodation (as opposed to a week) either side of the wedding day in our beautiful, spacious and historic 17th century two bedroom sandstone barn.

We are happy to discuss all sorts of variations and ideas you might have, as no two weddings here should ever be the same.

If you are looking for a wedding reception at short notice we are more than happy to consider whether we can offer an appropriate discount for a date that would not otherwise have been booked.

We have a selection of carefully chosen professional caterers to choose from. There is plenty of scope within this list for most budgets and any type of menu. We can help you with this by making suggestions based on what you are looking for.
