Situated in a very private location, yet very accessible, on the A26, near to Crowborough, we have plenty of undercover parking and have the most beautiful views across the Sussex countryside. Being very close to the borders of Kent & Sussex, we make a great Tunbridge Wells venue for charitable events.
If you have any ideas for raising money for charity there are so many opportunities to make use of these versatile buildings. If it is the summer and you would like to use our inside facilities as well as the beautiful lawns, or a cozy warm venue in the stone barn, we can create whatever look you are wanting to achieve.
Not only is Hendall easy to find but also very accessible with disabled access provided throughout the building.
Funds have been raised for Parkinsons UK, Chailey Heritage Foundation, Wellbeing for Women and CHADIK (Child Health & Development in Kenya).
A charity lunch or tea could sensibly attract 80 paying invitees with a classical concert or recital comfortably seating about 100. We work with many wonderful caterers so can cater and work around any theme and event you are wanting to promote.
Hendall is also ideal for dance and exercise classes with lots of heated floor space. We have the Stone Barn or the Old Dairy as an option. A local singing group has made good use of the church like acoustics – totally flexible!
