Eastbourne Venue for Courses and Workshops

The Studio/Conference Room, known as The Old Dairy has been used for art classes, the caterer’s kitchen for cookery classes and The Stone Barn for Eastbourne singing groups.  There is also tremendous scope for courses, demonstrations, tutorials, training and teaching.

To date we have welcomed many groups including water colour painting classes, willow weaving, a children’s’ ‘Olympic Cookathon and a one day ‘butchery course’. We were also delighted to host a two day course for midwives.

The layout at Hendall is versatile enough for combined theoretical and practical courses, using the conference room for teaching and our caterer’s kitchen in tandem for demonstrations and hands on activities.

The conference/studio room, which has artist’s north facing skylights and two sinks, can be arranged to fit the size of class and the type of activity planned.
