Sorrel and Ed – September wedding

We were so delighted to be the chosen wedding ceremony venue for Sorrel Broadbridge and Ed Drake’s wedding in September.

Sorrel and Ed decided that Hendall was the perfect wedding venue for them to host their ceremony in, before heading off to hold their reception in a fabulous tipi.

Their wedding was covered by OK Magazine and we are pleased to now be able to share a few images of their day with you. There was also a lovely mention for Hendall in the Daily Mail as one of their wedding guests, Mollie King from the girl band ‘The Saturdays’ (and recent Strictly Come Dancing fame) was a very old friend of Ed’s!

Their wedding ceremony was held in the beautiful Stone Barn and the decorations were simple but effective with bunches of eucalyptus and pots of lavender lining the aisle and an unusual macrame wall hanging which adorned the back wall of the barn.

The Bride and her Bridesmaids stayed with us the night prior in our beautiful on-site wedding accommodation and had their bridal hair and make up done in the morning. The make up artist was the wonderful Harriet Rainbow who made the girls look so beautiful!

Sally Thurrell was their wedding photographer and has captured some impressive and whimsical images of their day.
