We are now well under way with our wedding season and last weekend was our 150th wedding here at Hendall; and a beautiful spring day it was too. It has been an amazing few years and we can’t wait for the next 150!
Our lucky couple were Harriet and Ellis (aka Jamie(. Harriet is a Wedding & Events Organiser so knew exactly what she wanted and we were delighted to be a part of it!
The bride, her Mother and Bridesmaids stayed here the night before her wedding and had a cosy night in after their church rehearsal in Iford Church, East Sussex. Their hair and make-up was done by Elloise Willett http://eiwmakeup.com/ and Chloe Butterfill. They all looked fabulous and Harriet’s mum had the privilege and pleasure of helping her daughter get into her beautiful, hand- made dress, from Judy Mott Bridal Couture in Tunbridge Wells http://www.judymott.com/.
After their service in Iford, the bride & groom and the bridal parry arrived in a fleet of Minis. Most of the guests arrived in a red double decker bus from The Brighton & Hove Bus Company. Some of the flowers, by the very talented Lisa of Lily & Myrtle http://www.lilyandmyrtle.co.uk/, were already here, but she then transferred all the flowers from the church to make Hendall look even prettier! The guests were greeted with Prosecco and canapes followed by a delicious wedding breakfast – the caterer that Harriet and Jamie chose, from our ‘Approved Caterers List, was LK Events Ltd http://www.louiseskitchen.co.uk/.
Capturing the whole day, from start to finish were Helen England behind the camera and Carol & Paul from Cut Above Productions – not a moment was missed. http://helenenglandphotography.co.uk/ http://www.cutaboveproductions.co.uk/
Harriet, Ellis had a DJ for the evening from Discofever http://www.discofever.co.uk/ . To help their day go even more smoothly, Harriet had asked Toastmaster Peter Thompson to officiate – he did a superb job and like all the suppliers mentioned today we would highly recommend him, http://www.southeast-toastmasters.co.uk/. All Harriet and Ellis’ suppliers will be added to our recommended suppliers list!
