Emily & Toby’s Hendall Manor Barns Wedding

Despite the pandemic and the disappointment of not being able to invite everyone they had originally planned to; all the prior plans did not go to waste! The second I saw Emily and Toby’s outfits; I also noticed Emily’s incredible shoes and knew it had been time and money well spent! Emily’s 2 piece dress was from House of Ollichon and her shoes were from Emmy. Toby’s green tweed jacket and waistcoat was hired from Moss Bros.

Emily made a great choice in Nicola from Tea & Trim who styled Emily’s hair and her make-up was done in our gorgeous Bridal cottage.

The exciting lead up to the day

The lead up to the day in a pandemic was much more challenging with the ever-changing Covid guidelines but there were still lots of things to make everyone smile.
Flowers were to be displayed in their favourite beer bottles, so the couple worked diligently on emptying and securing lots of bottles;) They had already printed 375 coasters for the original 90-person May wedding which they decided to use a few for their October date.
Emily and her Mum also made matching masks for the girls and a matching dress for Emily’s niece which was a lovely touch.

Considering the Covid uncertainty in the lead up to the wedding, when a text came through from Toby starting with the words ‘I have a problem’ Emily dreaded what it would be. Toby had woken up with a bad neck and could barely walk! Fortunately, by the time everyone had arrived Toby was feeling better and even the rain stayed away until much later in the day.
