Hendall Manor Barns offers a peaceful location for any funeral, wake and celebration of life. Providing a tranquil setting to mark the life of a loved one.

Our Approach

We offer a sympathetic, yet hands on approach and your event will be handled with the upmost care and dignity. Hendall is situated in peaceful surroundings in the East Sussex countryside.

Our beautiful, historic venue will be offered to you with exclusive use and tailored to suit your needs and requirements.

Funeral Ceremony

Should you wish to host your loved one’s funeral ceremony here, we are in contact with some wonderful local celebrants. They can liaise directly with you and your family to conduct a beautiful and poignant ceremony within our Stone Barn.

Our Stone Barn and enclosed outdoor terrace and lawn offer a calm and private place to gather together to remember that special person.

Catering

One of our approved caterers will be able to supply wonderful food for your event; ranging from an afternoon tea or barbecue to a sit down meal or simple canapes and bowl food.

We do not charge corkage, so if you would be able to supply your chosen drinks including alcohol, our chosen caterer would be responsible for serving these drinks for you and would supply all necessary glassware and staffing. Along with tea & coffee.

Where We’re Located

For a funeral, wake and celebration of life, Hendall Manor Barns is easily accessible – we are just off
the A26 which runs south from Royal Tunbridge Wells and through Crowborough. Not much further away is the city of Brighton and Hove and Uckfield is close by and we are roughly equidistant of Haywards Heath, East Grinstead and Lewes.
