Our Civil Ceremonies Venue

We are conveniently situated in the Sussex countryside, away from it all, yet with really easy access, just the other side of Lewes. If you, as a couple, want a different venue, a beautful stone barn for your civil wedding, then we must be a consideration. Being only 25 minutes from Brighton we feel that we are offering something a bit different from all the seaside hotels in Eastbourne and Brighton.

Our clients love to come to Hendall as we offer the whole package – somewhere you can arrive at, even the night before to stay, get married and then be able to enjoy your reception without having to travel. Don’t forget we have our beautiful stone self catering accommodation which sleeps up to six people, where you can get ready with your family and bridesmaids and then stay on the night of your wedding – perfect!

Using our Barn for your Civil Partnership

Civil partnerships can take place anywhere within our glorious and part 17^th century sandstone barn. Couples can arrange the seating in whatever layout they desire, either for an intimate gathering or for a much larger number of guests, although our maximum capacity cannot exceed 150.
