Supplier of the Month – DiscoFever

As we are now in the thick of ‘wedding fever‘ here at Hendall, we thought, who better to feature for this month’s Supplier of the Month than Ian of DiscoFever!?

DJ or band?

Choosing between a band or a DJ can be a tricky choice for some, and there are certainly merits to both. We love seeing bands here in the Stone Barn and they really optimise the acoustics within the building, but, is there anything better than the original track, turned up loud, in all its glory?

Ian has been one of our recommended suppliers here since the beginning and we know and trust him well. He offers an adaptable service, understanding that you’ll want your friends and family to kick off their shoes and dance the night away, but also to ensure that you have your say in how you’d like him to perform.

Offering you the choice to have as much or as little input in to the choice of songs, letting your guests add to your playlist (if you’d be happy to let the odd song selection make its way in!) or just allowing Ian to do what he does best and simply leave it up to him to get your dance floor rocking; the choice is yours.

Should you opt for total control of your playlist, Ian offers an online portal service with your own unique username and password. In here, you can build your playlists, add ‘must play’ songs, as well as ‘must NOT play’ songs and let him know all kinds of answers to questions such as, “do you want me to play songs that are requested by your guests on the night?”

Optional Extras!

In addition to providing a DJ/disco for your wedding or event, Ian also offers up-lighters to transform the room in to an ambient, mood-lit space and two different kinds of photobooth too. He is a one stop shop for all things party!

Hiring an experienced and professional DJ for either your evening reception, or to help throughout the day’s proceedings playing background music, making necessary announcements etc… really does make all the different when it comes to quality.

Our motto at Hendall is very much “quality over quantity” and, to ensure the day runs without a hitch, this should be true for all aspects of a wedding or event. Quality is key.
