Hendall Arts Exhibition and The Hurstwood Pop Up Dinners

Well, what a truly fantastic weekend we have just had here at Hendall Manor Barns; two wonderful pop up dinners provided by The Hurstwood Pub in High Hurstwood and the whole venue transformed in to an exhibition of beautiful art and sculpture, courtesy of The Arts Portfolio.

Set up for the event started in earnest on Tuesday with plenty of people working with one another to install lighting, pods, partitions, not to mention all the paintings, sculptures, bar, cloakroom, food and drink in readiness for the ‘long weekend’ event to start on Thursday afternoon.

From Thursday through to Sunday evening, we had a hugely successful turn out of guests coming to Hendall.

Pop Up Dinners from The Hurstwood

The pop up dinners from The Hurstwood were an enormous success and the feedback received thus far has been phenomenal, with quite a few people asking us ‘when is the next one?’

The Stone Barn was transformed within an hour from a bright and spacious exhibition space to an atmospheric banquet space.

No expense was spared when it came to the attention to detail from The Hurstwood. Beautiful grey linens, showstopping floral displays and a fine dining 5 course meal which could rival the best restaurants around. It was a pleasure to work with Lenka and Martin and their fabulous team.

The Arts Portfolio

The Arts Portfolio did incredibly well and lots of art and sculpture was sold over the course of the weekend. Richard and his team knew exactly what they wanted and how they wished the venue to be set up, being sympathetic to the venue and showcasing the art and sculpture in the best possible way within the space at Hendall.

We look forward to hosting another event like this in the future.
