The first wedding this year at Hendall was Caitlin and Adam’s.  They were married early in March, during the ‘Beast from the East’!!  Hendall was toasty warm with all the underfloor heating.

After a beautiful service at High Hurstwood Church, Caitlin’s childhood village, they arrived to be welcomed by us and the caterers Food Glorious Food South.  Caitlin looked absolutely stunning in a dress from  Isabella Grace Bridal in Tunbridge Wells, and she had had her hair done by  Kate Hero Hair Stylist, make up by Emma Lily Curran; Adam was in uniform and looked very smart.  The beautiful flowers, bouquets and button holes by Laura  Fern Cottage Floristry and  To Have and To Hire Weddings  had decorated Hendall.  Photographer Matt Matthew Page Photography was a new to Hendall, but even though it was bitterly cold outside, he managed to persuade the happy couple to pose outside at the water’s edge for photos.

The theme for the tables was gin!  So obviously a lot of work had gone into have enough empty gin bottles for the flowers on each of the tables.

Soon after everyone arrived, the groom’s father gave the couple Jewish blessings under a simple yet beautiful chuppah with the traditional stamping on a glass.

With a band in the evening they had a wonderful day here.
