Anna and Stephen celebrated their wedding ceremony at Hendall Manor Barns, on a calm, still, spring day in April.

They came to Hendall, by recommendation from The Hurstwood pub. Anna and Stephen are regular diners there and decided that The Hurstwood would be the perfect setting for their wedding reception.

When asking The Hurstwood where they would recommend for their ceremony to take place, they kindly suggested Hendall, and the rest, as they say is history!

All the bridal party stayed locally at The Griffin Pub in Fletching and made their way to us by pre-booked minibus.

The Groom and Best Man were chauffeured here by Premier Wedding Cars, which then made the return journey to the Griffin to the pick up the Bride, her brother, her maid of honour and the two flower girls.

The Groom wore a tailored grey checked suit with striking yellow tie and pocket square, and his best man donned a kilt for the special occasion.

The bride’s dress was purchased from Isabella Grace Bridal in Tunbridge Wells. The dress was a classic, long sleeved fitted dress and suited Anna beautifully. It was complemented by a simple bouquet of white roses.

Anna was walked down the aisle by her brother, and, preceding them, her best friend and two divine little flower girls, who sweetly scattered some white rose petals down the aisle, ahead of the Bride.

The ceremony was wonderfully intimate with only 20 guests in attendance and the bridal party walked in to Louis Armstrong’s timeless classic, ‘What a wonderful world’.

The chairs for the ceremony were flanked with simple bunches of eucalyptus and twine adding a delicate touch to the set up of the ceremony.

The wedding flowers were made and delivered by Darling and Wild, a Tunbridge Wells based florist.

After the ceremony had concluded, The Hurstwood then looked after the guests, serving them a fantastic array of expertly handcrafted canapes and a glass of fizz (or two!) for the guests to enjoy.

The party of guests were gathered for certain group photographs in and around the tranquil setting of the barn and main house, before they made their way to The Hurstwood pub to continue their wedding celebrations at reception.

Their photographer, Craig Matthews , was new to us at Hendall, but based just 20 minutes away from us in Tunbridge Wells and, working alongside him was a Videographer, Lee Flaherty, also new to us.

We really enjoyed hosting Anna and Stephen’s wedding ceremony and wish them all the best for a very happy future with one another.
