On Tuesday February 11th 2014, there is an Emergency First Aid at Work Level 2 FAA Award – 1 DAY Course being held at Hendall Manor Barns.

This is suitable for most businesses who would come under the low risk category, ie offices, shops, most industrial units and businesses where there is no industrial manufacturing or building works (anyone in high risk areas would need to attend a 3 day First Aid at work Level 3 FAA Award course /Qualification).

This EFAW course is a comprehensive course comprising of a minimum of 7 hours of practical and theoretical training covering the following work related Health and Safety regulation recommendations. Responsibility of the Emergency First Aider, Reporting of Incidents by law, First Aid Hygiene, Assessments, Resuscitation, Angina, Heart Attacks, Choking, Bleeding, Shock, Seizures, dealing with an unresponsive casualty, burns, minor injuries and more. It includes continuous assessment by the tutor throughout the training day followed by a short multiple choice question paper at the end in order to qualify.
